Workshop Details

The art of glass etching, also known as “French embossing”  is a beautiful technique that allows for personalization to a glass surface. For this wine and spirits themed event, we will create personalized wine glasses or whiskey Tumblers utilizing this art form developed in the 1800's. You will be provided with one glass (with the option to purchase more, if you’d like) to etch upon. You’ll learn how to design your artwork, create a stencil, and safely use etching solution. Walk away with a personal heirloom… and, at the very least, a fun experience in the company of others. Enjoy a night out in Franklin,  Tennessee (one of the cutest towns you’ll ever see!). Sip on a lovely, curated selection of wines provided by local favorite Saint Goose Wine + Whisky Shop! All supplies are provided as well as light refreshments. Everyone is welcome — no experience needed.

We hope you can join us!

Bring

Feel free to bring any glass item of your own that you want to try etching - at your own risk :) Sometimes the etching is not perfect and your item could be ruined.  The etching solution is a harsh chemical so I will have gloves on hand, but feel free to bring your own if you have any sensitivities to latex gloves. An apron should not be necessary, but if you want to be on the safe side you could bring one or wear clothes that are not too precious in case of a spill.

Please note that the ticket is non-refundable, but can be given to another person if you are unable to attend.
